Cosmic Pie was the pop-up food vendor at Humble Sea when I visited. The menu is nicely limited and full of their own creative recipes. I ordered the Moonbeam (white sauce, mushroom, garlic, parsley, Grana Padano) and it was exquisite! My partner got their Margherita pizza and it was similarly divine. Both were authentic Neapolitan-style in terms of dough and baking. We were seriously impressed!
We originally came to try the Detroit style we had seen photos of. Unfortunately they weren't offering them that day. It's fine. We were totally blown away with how tasty their neapolitan pizzas were. Handmade, fresh, fast and delicious! Highly recommend checking this pop-up out.
These guys should have more reviews. Nice guys. Pizza came out really fast. The Eclipse was very unique in flavor. The hoisin sauce was an interesting twist and the perfectly soft but still crunchy nut bits were perfection. The dough was fluffy and great, too. Bravo!
This place is a gem. Legit Neapolitan Pizza by a guy who is a passionate student of pizza. He understands and has nailed the sourdough process that makes Neapolitan what it is. And even more exciting: he is starting to do Detroit-Style pizza. If you have not heard of this, google it, the photos speak for themselves. Cosmic's version is the real deal, and as good as any Detroit-Style I have had. The pop-up at Humble Sea is brilliant: Artisan beer and artisan pizza in a great outdoor space.
Amazing Neapolitan pizzas at Humble Sea Brewery. Totally unique, and by far the freshest pizza in the Santa Cruz area. They serve Detroit style on Thursdays which are absolutely fantastic. You can order takeout from the website. They are open Thurs - Sunday.
